Halloween 2008

Halloween this year was a lot of fun. A couple of weeks before Halloween, Amy and I took the kids to the Pumpkin Patch in Argyle. That was fun until the bees started attacking us. I think they liked the breast milk Amy was feeding Joleigh - HAHA!
Then Halloween night we went to the Trinity Bible Church in Willow Park. It was a free event where you could eat, listen to a live band, and the kids could play tons of games for candy. I really didn't think Ady would play the games but she did - EVERYONE of them!!!
Normally they told them to get like two pieces of candy out of the tub but Adyson was stocking up. Then we decided to hit one street to see how she did this year at Trick-or-Treating. SHE LOVED IT!!! She thought it was so much fun. After leaving each house, she was like "ok lets get more." By the time we got home and of course made a stop at the neighbors, she was loaded up on candy. Now if I could just get rid of it so she will stay out of it. We have enforced the "2 pieces of candy a night rule" so she would not be eating candy all night.
I hope everyone else had a safe and happy Halloween!

Favorite Photo Friday

Ok I have really been slacking - I know!!! Trying to get finished with school but I have still been taking lots of pictures. Above are some of my favorites from the past. I promise in the next few weeks I will be posting more - ESPECIALLY with the Holidays approaching so fast!

Joleigh Belle

So I have completely slacked the last week or two. It has been crazy with work and school. So Amy had Joleigh Belle last week and we got to spend a lot of time with them yesterday.

Drama Queen

So Adyson wanted to dress up and I thought it would just last for a few minutes and she would be done. Well then she started dancing. I'm not sure where she learned what she was doing but it was hilarious and went on for at least thirty minutes. She is so girly and very dramatic.

She had Matt and I rolling. The last picture isn't that great but it looks exactly like me when I was her age.

Favorite Photo Friday

I was just thinking about the huge bows that we stick on our daughter's heads. Adyson was about a year old in these three pics. It's funny to see all her baby fat and now it is all gone.

Movin' On Up

Doing her bridge

Straddle Basket

Well Adyson has been doing gymnastics for the almost nine months. It has been a Mommy and me class. We found out on Monday that once this semester is over in October she will be moving up. The great thing is that she will be skipping over the next level and going to the one above that. The sad part is that I can't be in there anymore :( I can still watch though.

Some days are bad days where she just wants to run crazy in there and do her own thing. Then there are times that she just amazes me because in one class she will learn several new things and she focuses really well. Her teacher, Michelle, thinks that she spectacular and picks up on everything really fast. I'm hoping this is something she sticks with to teach her discipline, coordination, and keep her in shape. If anyone wants to see her in action, right now we have class on Monday nights. However, come the middle of October that might change to another night.

Gymnastics Princess Party

Her cute cake!!!
In her princess throne with her tiara on, ready to eat some cake!

She really scored with Hannah Montana stuff and Barbies. I know it is hard to believe that a 3 year old is already into Hannah Montana and iCarly.

My adorable princess! She already can't wait till her next birthday.

Telling everyone THANK YOU! Thanks to everyone that came out. Adyson told me the next day "Mom that was the best day of my life." Haha I'm sure that is not the first time I will hear her say that! Hope everyone had as much fun as we did.

Favorite Photo Friday

Ok so I am stealing Amelia's idea about favorite photo friday's.

The top picture is from Ranchbash last year. Casey had to stick her hand in the pic :) Can't wait till this year! Then Adyson laying out on the deck. She said she wanted to tan like Mommy. Then her wearing my heels. She is definitely a "mini-me"!

It's "TEDDY"

I'm guessing Daddy might have taught her the wrong way to say it. I wish I had camera about 20 seconds before. She was even making the hand motions like in the movie "Meet the Fockers." Hopefully, she won't say it in public! ***Watch the Video***

Three Years of Joy

It seems only yesterday Matt and I were in the hospital holding Adyson for the first time.

Then it was during her 1st birthday that we started to see her attitude come out.

Then by her 2nd birthday we thought she had grown so much. Only to realize how much she would grow and learn within the next year. Adyson will be three tomorrow! This past year she has picked up on so much and learned so much. She loves to make us laugh, dance around, and she still sings "I Love Rock'n Roll". I'm beginning to realize that each year it is going to be more and more that she learns. Also with each year her sassy little attitude gets worse and worse. We know it is cute now but won't be in a few years.

I'm Back

Ok so I have been wanting to start blogging again for awhile now. Finally with a push from Amelia, I'm back. I couldn't get into my old blog - long story - so I am starting a new one. Bare with me while I refresh my memory with all of the neat features. Also there have been a lot of changes since the last time I was on here so that may take me a bit. I love doing these because it is a great way to keep in touch with family that isn't so close!!!
